My Story
I'm a graduate student in philosophy at UMass Amherst. I work on questions in metaphysics, philosophy of art, ancient philosophy, and philosophy of religion. Currently, my main research programs focus on the metaphysics of stories, the artistic practices of authors, the normative significance of narrative, and related topics in ancient and contemporary metaphysics and philosophy of art. I am also a co-organizer of the UMass Philosophy in Public Schools program, and in general love talking about philosophy with kids. I enjoy researching and teaching in a variety of other philosophical areas, including bioethics, epistemology, metaphilosophy, and logic.
